hola alguién me puede decir a que se refiere la frase : STokes or Parkinson’s disease en el siguiente parrafo:

Eventually scientists hope that these rapidly dividing and largely nonmigratory cells could act as replacement brain cells. Such an advance would finally give doctors an effective way to treat brain trauma from head injuries, stokes or Parkinson’s disease.

Stoked creo yo, se refiere cuando te da un coma al golpearse la cabeza o algo así, y parkinsons disease se refiere a la enfermedad de parkinsons. Pd: donde estás estudiando traductorado aquí en Chile, estoy en 4•medio y me gustaría averiguar más sobre este tema
