Sony anunció que para diciembre estará disponible su nuevo televisor XEL-1, cuyas principales características son la de ser el más delgado del mundo y la de ser el primero con pantalla Organic EL TV, lo que asegura colores brillantes y bajo consumo. La pantalla tiene un espesor de 3 mm, un tamaño de 11 pulgadas, soporta video HD, tiene entradas HDMI, USB e ethernet; contaste 1.000.000:1, un peso de 2 kilos, resolución de 960 x 450 y un precio de $1.734 dólares.
