TechCrunch 40: Las startups más hot


TechCrunch 40 es una conferencia muy especial: Nada más ni nada menos que [URL=“http://techcrunch20.com/2007/index.php”]40 de las startups más prometedoras de todo el mundo salen del garage y se presentan en sociedad. El evento ha estado super bien blogeado, y las [URL=“http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Startup_company”]startups han presentado aplicaciones increíbles. Además, [URL=“http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/09/17/yahoo-presents-yahoo-teachers-at-techcrunch40/”]otras empresas que ya dejaron el garage hace muchos años aprovecharon de hacer sus anuncios.
Del primer día, estas son las aplicaciones que más me llamaron la atención:

  1. [Viewdle: Esta aplicación permite indexar, buscar y monetizar videos a través de una tecnología de reconocimiento facial. Actualmente se usa en Reuters para buscar gente en los videos, por ejemplo a [URL="http://reuters.viewdle.com/search?p=Paris+Hilton"]Paris Hilton](http://www.viewdle.com/).
  2. [Crowdspirit](http://www.crowdspirit.com/): La idea es enviar una idea innovadora para un producto y pulirla de manera colaborativa con otros usuarios. A medida que la idea se completa, llega a los potenciales inversionistas y luego a un prototipo que se prueba en comunidad. Si pasa esta fase, sale a la venta y todos los involucrados en el proceso ganan un porcentaje.
  3. [Ponoko: Una comunidad dirigida a la fabricación digital: los usuarios diseñan objetos, comparten y venden, y el sistema se encarga de fabricarlos y distribuirlos.
