Internship California Cantina:
California Cantina & Zen Intern Program: In September of 2009 the Dream of California Cantina became a reality for James Lyles, Dan Worth and Santiago Chile. The Native Californians sold everything and moved to Chile in hopes of starting an American Style Sports Bar & Restaurant.
From its beginnings California Cantina was an amazing success. In 3 years time they have created a multi-million dollar establishment. In August of 2011 they purchased their second establishment.
Zen an Asian Style Nightclub was born and they doubled their space and staff. As these two restaurateurs push forward with new concepts and venues they constantly seek like minded and driven individuals to join their team and participate in a dream come true.
We provide lunch or dinner on the days you work. You will also receive all sorts of other employee benefits.

Management & Operations
Do you think you have what it takes to run a multi-million dollar establishment? Can you solve problems? Think Fast? Relate to Clients? Motivate and Manage a staff of 30, 50, 100 Employees?
With our Management & Operations Internship you will learn the skills and get hands on training in the field. We are looking for those ready to rise to the challenge.
Marketing & Event Coordination
Can you fill a room? Even on a Monday? Our Marketing team does. “Build it and they will come” is not necessarily the case.
The restaurant bar industry is known to be one of the toughest businesses that there is… or at least the highest failure rate. Anyone can open the doors but not everyone can consistently fill the place. This is the secret to success in the hospitality industry. Be ready to be creative and push the envelope.

With live music and DJ’s 5 nights a week there is never a dull moment. In this position you will design flyers for our events, work on web design and bring our marketing campaigns to life. Get ready to push the envelope with your creativity.
Expectations:
Language: should speak English and Spanish, at least one of them fluently
Nationality: Doesn’t matter
Experiences: good knowledge with Illustrator, Photoshop etc for the Design side (Marketing Internship)
It doesn’t matter if you already have your college degree, are still studying or doing something different, but:
We expect a generall ability to try hard and learn & a big interest in the restaurant industry
Generell Information:
The California Cantina is a restaurant located in Providencia, Santiago
Duration: minimum of a month, favored 3 months
Working hours: 10-20 hours a week
Benefits: Employee Discounts, Gift Cards as Bonus, Meal every time you work, possible bonus in cash for really good work
Marketing Position: Unpaid
Management Position: Compensation, but more hours to work in the week
